SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) June 28, 2018 -- Foghorn Consulting, Inc., a cloud-optimization expert for cloud platforms, has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Well-Architected Partner status. The AWS Well-Architected framework has been developed to help cloud architects build some of the most secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure possible for their applications.
The AWS Well-Architected framework and review program is based on a set of best practices and strategies developed by AWS to evaluate areas where a cloud design is working and areas that need improvement. Foghorn uses this system to better understand a client’s cloud architecture and how this design relates to the five pillars of the framework: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, efficiency, and cost optimization.
“We are honored to have been chosen for Amazon Web Services Well-Architected program. Our goal at Foghorn is always to maximize the benefit of the cloud for our clients, so they can achieve the highest performance, resilience and security at the lowest costs,” shares Alex Roosakos CEO of Foghorn. “The AWS Well-Architected program is the gold standard of evaluations and is a great tool that provides a holistic view into what is and what is not working with Cloud deployments.”
The AWS Well-Architected framework provides a clear, concise, and cost-efficient matrix from which to study, measure and improve the overall health of an enterprise’s cloud architecture and critical workloads living on the cloud. AWS Well-Architected reviews provide a solid foundation to begin a conversation to develop strategies and an action plan to take advantage of new innovations and best practices to build even greater functionality, resiliency, and security into a client’s cloud architecture.
“Because of the AWS Well-Architected program’s efficacy and incredible value for organizations utilizing the cloud, Foghorn is including a complimentary AWS Well-Architected review for all existing and new FogOpsSM customers,” shares Roosakos. “Our cloud engineers live for discovering ways to improve performance as well as identifying issues that we can remediate before they become problems.”
