Jim Loomis announces the release of 'Charlie & Sebastian'
SURPRISE, Ariz., May 17, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- While Jim Loomis was playing with Charlie, one of his two grandsons, Charlie decided they should play a game with him being a horse and Jim being an alligator. Jim later thought that this game might make a good children's book. It is for this reason he has written "Charlie & Sebastian" (published by Xlibris).
This is the story of two very unlikely animals and how they became best friends. Charlie is a young horse, and Sebastian is a young alligator. They did not care that they were very different, and not supposed to like each other. They just wanted to be friends, and have fun.
When Sebastian's mom and dad found out that he and Charlie were friends, they were very upset. They did not like them playing together, and were going to put a stop to it! However, once they, and Charlie's mom and dad saw them playing and having fun, they changed their minds, and decided just maybe, they could be friends after all.
"I have made this book easy to read and understand. The illustrations are very well done and will appeal to readers. Besides being entertaining, the book lets readers think about what is being said and hopefully, apply it to their lives. The book concludes with a moral of the story," Loomis says. When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, he answers, "We need to change people's minds and more importantly, their behavior. Even though we are all different, we can still become friends."
