NEW YORK, Aug. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Deepomatic, a computer vision company headquartered in France, has expanded into North America, opening a U.S. headquarters in New York City. Jesse Mouallek has joined the company as the Head of Operations to spearhead growth. Jesse is based in New York City and reports directly to Augustin Marty, CEO of the company.
Deepomatic provides the tools - both in the form of software and managed services - to allow organizations to build, operate and deploy their own enterprise-level AI applications to automate their visual processes through image recognition. Powered by Deepomatic Studio® and Deepomatic Run®, these AI applications can be deployed through the cloud or directly on a company's servers or data center.
By 2023, the computer vision market is estimated to grow from $11.9 to $17.4 billion. The rapid growth is attributed to the rise in process automation within factories automation. Applications within the foodservice and grocery, telecom and energy industries have also increased the need for computer vision technology within organizations. Customers using Deepomatic's technology include The Compass Group, Belron, and Airbus.

Prior to joining Deepomatic, Mouallek served as a Sales Operation Manager at Clarifai, a computer vision and AI company in New York City, and held a number of sales and finance roles in both the U.S. and France. Mouallek received both a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from ESSEC Business School in France.
