Inc. magazine today revealed that Groundworks is No. 2227 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“It is an honor to earn this recognition for the third consecutive year, and to be included among many powerhouse companies,” said Matt Malone, CEO, Groundworks. “Our vision at Groundworks has always been simple. Acquire and partner with the best foundation services’ consumer brands in the United States. We then provide those brands the freedom to expand their geographic footprint, while also offering their team the ability to grow and develop like never before.”

Groundworks expects its success to continue as they grow across the United States. This year alone, they have expanded with the acquisition of industry-leading companies in Colorado, Florida, and Ohio. The company has seen additional organic growth by opening new branches to fulfill expectations of expansion set when each acquired brand joins the nation’s largest privately-owned foundation services company.
