Inc. magazine today revealed that The Westport Group is No. 2475 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nations’ fastest-growing companies. The Westport Group (TWG), a multi-life high-limit disability insurance provider, has been ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America for their 4th time. This list has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success within the private business sector. The Inc. 5000 list ranks privately owned companies based on the percentage of revenue growth over the last 3 years, an area that The Westport Group has excelled in; increasing 160% since 2015.
The Westport Group previously earned appearances on the Inc. 5000 list in 2016, 2017 and 2018. This year TWG was also honored with a #25 ranking on the Boston Business Journal’s Fast 50, a list of the 50 fastest growing private companies in the Boston area. This was their 4th appearance on the BBJ Fast 50 List. TWG shows no signs of slowing down this exponential growth in revenue, as their patent pending corporate product shows a promising future.
“We’re proud to be recognized as one of America’s fastest growing private companies for 4 consecutive years. It’s a testament to our team’s commitment to innovation, service and most importantly our clients,” said Christopher Kristian, The Westport Group’s co-founder and Executive Vice President. Both co-founders are ecstatic about the direction that TWG is moving in. Gary Terry, co-founder and Executive Vice President, quotes, “Another outstanding year by all our team members who helped make this honor possible. Our client centered approach continues to dominate the marketplace and will set the stage for our future growth.”
Founded in 2006 and privately owned, The Westport Group designs, manufactures and offers comprehensive insurance services for consulting firms, law firms, investment firms, corporations and high net worth individuals. The Westport Group is the first firm in North America to realize the exposure of highly compensated, white-collar professionals and conceptualize a new product that offers multi-life, guaranteed-issue solutions. Recently, The Westport Group developed a new patent pending corporate product for publicly traded companies.
