The former Rangers and Brentford forward will lead two new Nike Soccer Camps this summer in San Diego and Lake Forest, California, in addition to a returning camp in Laguna Niguel.
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., March 1, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- After playing in top European soccer leagues for over a decade and the USL Championship league for several years, Harry Forrester officially announced his retirement from professional soccer and expansion into coaching and youth development. The former Rangers and Brentford forward will lead two new Nike Soccer Camps this summer in San Diego and Lake Forest, California, in addition to a returning camp in Laguna Niguel.
Forrester's club-neutral coaching academy, Prospect Soccer Academy, is partnering with Nike to offer camps that cater to developing and high-performance campers ages 6 to 16 who want to perfect their techniques and advance their overall skills and knowledge. Campers can participate in the San Diego day camp from July 5-7 or Aug. 7-11 at 4S Ranch Sports Park, and the Lake Forest day camp from June 12-16 at Lake Forest Sports Park. The two new camps will join the popular Nike Soccer Camp with Prospect Soccer Academy - Laguna Niguel.

Prospect Soccer Academy leverages Forrester's and co-founder Rob Kiernan's collective 28 years in top European leagues, including the Scottish Premiership and the Premier League. In 2018, Forrester moved to the United States to play for Orange County Soccer Club, and later Los Angeles Force, before retiring in January 2023. The Academy emphasizes hands-on, technical approaches found in European training sessions, setting its coaching strategy apart from many programs in the U.S.
