Formetco's Innovative 3-Sided Billboard at Cobb Galleria Centre Completed

DULUTH, Ga., Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Formetco of Duluth, GA, concluded construction on one of the largest and most unique billboards in the state of Georgia. The three-sided billboard adorns the Cobb Galleria Centre property along highway I-285 and faces the new SunTrust Park, home of the Atlanta Braves.

The Centre replaced its original sign and chose Formetco for the new project, a trailblazing conceptual design. The board includes two 25'x48' opposing panels, joined by a 25'x9.5' section, to complete a continuous three-sided display that spans more than 100 feet. "We are honored that we were chosen for this unique build. It's an iconic sign for the city of Atlanta directly across from SunTrust Park," says Britt McConnell of Formetco sales. "Working with Cobb Galleria Centre has been as easy as working with family. They have made the process easy."

For this project, Formetco teamed with DeNYSE, another Atlanta-based company, who also provided the architectural signage and lighting for The Battery at SunTrust Park. Mark DeNyse, president of DeNYSE, has worked with Formetco before. After some relatively small jobs, the duo teamed together in 2014 to build a large sign for Tanger Outlet Mall in Savannah, GA. "I love Formetco," he relays. "Their expertise and performance is excellent. Plus, they are a local provider and can provide superb services along with their products."

In discussions with the Centre to initiate the new concept and architectural billboard, DeNyse advocates, "Formetco made it really easy to seal the deal." McConnell concurs, "Formetco is the only family owned company in the industry, and I think people respect the family owned feeling they get from us. If there is an issue, our owners are going to know about it and make it right."

The combination of Formetco and DeNYSE seems to be working. McConnell volunteers, "We trust DeNYSE with the architectural side of things. They have been instrumental in getting this one-of-a-kind structure built." DeNyse agrees, "Formetco has tremendous technical know-how. When it comes to brightness and content management solutions, their knowledge is among the best in the industry."
