Forsake Takes Footwear One Step Further with SneakerBoot
Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) January 25, 2014 -- A hybrid shoe style that’s on the rise, the SneakerBoot is more relaxed than a dress shoe and less technical than a hiking boot. Forsake, a crowdfunded footwear company based in Boston, is one of the first footwear companies to offer the SneakerBoot. Their newest style, Clyde, will debut at the 2014 Winter Outdoor Retailer (Booth 31186).
Combining the best of both worlds, Forsake has taken some classic sneaker elements like a high-top silhouette and streamlined aesthetic and added in a few boot inspired additions such as a die-cut EVA midsole for the ideal, all-weather shoe.
“The SneakerBoot is a statement of style designed to perform in any condition while also looking great in every environment,” explains Forsake CEO Jake Anderson, “the Clyde does just that.”
Designed to deliver rugged outdoor performance with everyday wearability, the Clyde features an AQUA-Tek waterproof breathable membrane and moisture wicking mesh lining. The fully waterproof upper is constructed from scuff-resistant leather, suede and Cordura ballistic nylon for premium protection and comfort in the harshest conditions. Gusseted tongues, metal lacing hardware and two sets of nylon laces provide a secure fit with a customizable look.
“We created the Clyde to winterize the classic high-top sneaker silhouette and minimize the heavier aspects of a technical hiking boot, making it an ideal addition to round out our current collection,” says Sam Barstow, the President and COO of Forsake.
Forsake will be attending the 2014 Winter Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City, Utah at Booth 31186 located in the Salt Palace Convention Center from January 22nd to the 25th.
