Fort Lauderdale Guitar Teacher Offers One Time Discount to Christian Worship Leaders

One Floridian who is inspired by music is local guitar teacher Dyce Kimura. For years he has been serving as both a local guitar teacher and as a leader in church worship. “Music has a long history in the church. There are those who worship with their words and voices, and there are those who worship with other talents. I think churches are blessed to have members who celebrate their faith through the sounds of bells, piano, trumpet, violin, and guitar.”
Filled with musical talent, Dyce Kimura is honored to share his gifts as a worship leader. Music enriches his experience in the church and as a member of society as a whole. Years ago, he began offering Fort Lauderdale guitar lessons. His hope was to inspire students to learn an instrument not typically offered in most schools, despite its popularity. Just as his faith inspired him, he also hoped his students would embrace their talents and share them with others within their secular and religious communities. “I had students who, after learning about my role as worship leader, wanted to learn Christian music and share it with their own church. Even if their churches didn’t embrace guitar as a worship instrument, students were still interested in learning Christian music and songs from popular Christian bands.”
To encourage a new generation of Christian guitarists, the Fort Lauderdale guitar teacher decided to reach out to those with a passion for music. “I decided recently to give anyone interested in learning Christian worship music half off their first lesson. Students who are new to guitar will need to learn the basics, but I’ll teach students who are familiar with guitar some of the more popular Christian music I know.”
Dyce Kimura hopes that Fort Lauderdale guitar lessons will create more eager worship leaders. Dyce Kimura finds Skype to be an efficient way to meet with students, teach guitar, provide specific feedback, and help students interact and practice with others who have similar levels of talent.
