About Melissa
Melissa joins Foundation Capital with over 10 years experience as a designer, product leader, and entrepreneur. Prior to joining Foundation Capital, Melissa worked briefly at IDEO; then went on found Tiny Post, a social app used as a way to express yourself by writing on photos and sharing them with your network. The company was acquired by TripAdvisor in 2013. At TripAdvisor, Melissa focused on mobile product leadership and design thinking.
Drawing from her IDEO experience and training as a designer, Melissa will be working hand in hand with General Partner Steve Vassallo on a research project focused on finding unique ways to support design founders and better understand what is critical to their success.
Melissa holds her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and her Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
