Hawai`i Island, HI, July 21, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Brady Riggs, director of instruction of the Hualālai Golf Hale at Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, has been named in GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Teachers in America for 2021-2022. Riggs has consistently appeared on the biennial Top 100 list since 2007 and this year, he is the only Hawaiian-based instructor to receive recognition.
GOLF's Top 100 Teachers in America sets the industry standard for highlighting excellence in teaching and instruction. The process is led by the Top 100 Teachers Credentials Committee, who evaluate candidates for their teaching experience, achievements, student roster and peer ratings, as well as their devotion to the growth of the game. In addition to a public application, candidates are also nominated by the PGA, LPGA, and United States Golf Teachers Federation.

With more than 30 years of experience in golf instruction, Riggs is a highly regarded industry veteran. He has worked with over than 50 NCAA Division I golfers and one of his students, Danielle Kang, won back-to-back US Amateur titles and reached #1 in the World Amateur Rankings. He has also worked with Tour players from the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions, Korn Ferry Tour, Asian Tour and Mackenzie Tour and has been a PGA Tour Instructor since 2016. The following year, Riggs was inducted into the Southern California PGA Teaching Hall of Fame. He is also an adjunct faculty member for the PGA of America in teaching and has been a featured speaker at both the PGA and LPGA National Teaching Summits.
Riggs was appointed Director of Instruction at Hualālai Golf Hale in November 2020 during a period of significant updates for Four Seasons Resort Hualālai. The resort reopened in December 2020 following a $100+ million transformation, marking the first large-scale renovation since its debut. As part of the property-wide enhancements, the Hualālai Golf Course—the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on the island—introduced an enhanced look with the reshaping of the greens and bunkers in January, among a modern new Platinum Paspalum turf, enhancing the year-round playing conditions.
Complementing the renovation, Hualālai celebrated a new addition to its award-winning golf program, the Hualālai Golf Hale, a 3,000-square-foot facility that brings together cutting-edge technology and training.
