Four Twelve Roofing Announces Second Annual Baltimore Roof Trust Community Assistance Program
Baltimore City-based roofing company selects families and organizations in need for costly new roofing and roofing repairs.
BALTIMORE, Dec. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Four Twelve Roofing is closing out the year by making the holiday season a little less stressful for its community. As part of the company's second annual Baltimore Roof Trust, the Baltimore-based roofing company has hand selected families and organizations in need of home roofing assistance. Each year communities throughout Baltimore City nominate families or organizations and Four Twelve Roofing goes through countless applications to choose its winners.
Four Twelve Roofing has been deeply immersed in the Baltimore community for seven years and has no plan on slowing down its efforts to uplift the people in the city. "The Baltimore Roof Trust is a small way that we can give back, using our roofing company as a tool to positively impact the community," said Sam Frank, who serves as a partner for the company. "We believe that good people deserve a helping hand, and the Baltimore Roof Trust is about helping people who can use a hand up, or a roof."
The importance of giving back in the same community where the business was born, grown and currently thriving is imperative to the company. "We started this company as a community small business in Baltimore City," said Frank, the 30-year-old Baltimore native. "It is where my partner Shea Fredrick and myself both live and where the majority of our customer base is."
During the Baltimore Family Trust selection process, Four Twelve Roofing looks for direct and organic ways to connect with families and organizations that support the city the same way its company does and looks for nominees who give back to Baltimore City communities in various ways. Beginning December 2020 and January 2021, Four Twelve Roofing will complete necessary roofing and construction projects on the homes and organizations ranging from $5,000-$15,000 per project.
One applicant chosen is a woman in her early twenties who is the primary caretaker of her brother and grandmother, both of whom have disabilities. In her community she is viewed as an angel and a true hero for supporting her family. Unfortunately, the roof where she cares for the two has caved in and she is in much need of assistance.
A second candidate selected is a nonprofit based in Sandtown, which is one of the rougher parts in the city but home to one of the most big-hearted places. The nonprofit supports mental, emotional, and physical health for surviving individuals impacted by violence in Baltimore through therapeutic alternative healing, clinical and non-clinical counseling, peer support groups, and community-centered services, events, and activities. Although the nonprofit is home to so many supportive initiatives, the center has a huge hole in the roof and assistance is needed for the organization to continue in its community advancement.
