FOX News' Good Day Atlanta Selects Christal Jordan as an Official Correspondent
Celebrity Relationship Correspondent selects The epiMediaGroup, LLC as public relations record
ATLANTA, May 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In April 2019, FOX News' Good Day Atlanta signed Newspaper Editor, award winning author, and former entertainment publicist Christal Jordan as their official Celebrity Relationship Correspondent. Jordan started her new role on Tuesday, April 16th. Her regularly scheduled program airs alternate Tuesday at 10:45 am where she will be reporting on and giving her perspective as a former entertainment publicist on some of the nation's top celebrity talent. Viewers can find the full article for the segments on Rolling Out.com immediately following the segment. The premiere segment focused on news of Wendy Williams serving her husband with divorce papers.
"I was elated to hear that Wendy has found the strength to let go of the dead weight holding her back. For all she has accomplished, it makes sense she needs a partner that is a complement to her as opposed to an embarrassment. I'd love to throw her a divorce party!" explained Christal Jordan.
Jordan followed up the heaviness of the Williams divorce segment by discussing the sci-fi romantic relationships on HBO's cult series Game of Thrones. "I hope fantasy will set the tone for reality and we'll see more women putting their goals first in context of their relationships." Jordan said. Christal Jordan earned a BA from the University of Oklahoma and a MA from the University of Phoenix. As a former award winning entertainment publicist, she has worked with top talent for twelve years. Through her company, Enchanted Branding & PR, a premiere entertainment agency based in Atlanta, her work has been recognized both locally and nationally for her effort in the Public Relations field. Jordan also serves as a media coach and pop culture analyst.
"As a publicist I was always intrigued with how fascinated the public is with the love lives of their favorite celebrities. I believe watching the lives of the rich and famous allow us an escape but it also allows us an opportunity to hope, to dream, to believe in love. We see couples like Ciara and Russell Wilson or JLo and A-Rod and it makes us believe this could possibly happen to us."
By accepting the position at FOX News, Jordan has decided to return to her journalism roots. FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour all-encompassing news service delivering breaking news as well as political and business news. As the number one network in cable, FNC has been the most watched television news channel for more than 16 years. According to a 2018 Research Intelligencer study by Brand Keys, FOX News ranks as the second most trusted television brand in the country. In addition to her newly announced position, she also serves as a Relationship Editor and host for Rolling Out, one of the largest urban entertainment outlets in the country, and contributes to Upscale Magazine on women's issues and relationships. This new opportunity is a collaboration between her Rolling Out Reality Check show and Good Day Atlanta. Jordan's new book Girl It's time for a Reality Check: An Emotional evaluation for love, marriage & career, is slated for release Summer 2019.
