Frazier & Deeter Names Three New Partners

Jennifer Gruner, Jodi Prevost and Brandon Sherman were elected to Partner. Gruner is a partner in the Tax Practice in Atlanta, Prevost is a partner in the Audit Practice in Atlanta and Sherman is a partner in the Process, Risk & Governance Practice in Nashville.

Jennifer Gruner, CPA, has more than 15 years of public accounting experience and is one of the leaders of the firm’s Real Estate Practice. Jennifer specializes in tax compliance for real estate developers, builders, investors in commercial real estate and the individual partners of those firms. In addition, she has significant experience with various types of real estate investors, including domestic individuals, syndicators, foreign and domestic funds, tax exempt investors and REITs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
Jodi Prevost, CPA, has 10 years of experience in public accounting and is one of the leaders of the firm’s Forestry Practice. She is an expert in timber and timberland audits with clients that include funds, REITs, TIMOs and operating companies. She specializes in audits of country clubs and not-for-profit entities, as well as middle market real estate and professional services firms. Jodi also performs internal control assessments and audits as well as SEC compliance audits for investment managers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with the highest honors.
Brandon Sherman, CISA, leads the firm’s Tennessee Process, Risk & Governance Practice. Brandon specializes in designing and assessing risk assurance and consulting solutions to a variety of organizations, from entrepreneurial startups to large global public companies. He assists companies across the U.S. in managing their current and anticipated technology, business, regulatory compliance and cyber risks. In addition, he is a frequent speaker at industry association seminars and conferences and has authored whitepapers and other related thoughtware on a variety of risk management and regulatory compliance topics. Brandon received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the University of Mississippi.
