Frazier & Deeter (FD), one of the nation’s Top 50 accounting & advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Kandace Freeman has been named Vice President of Community Partnerships for the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR). She currently serves as FD’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager.
As Vice President of Community Partnerships, Freeman is responsible for building relationships and connections in the Atlanta community to acquire new ideas, community partners and opportunities that enhance the careers of NAAAHR’s members.
“Kandace believes in the power of partnership and the ability to do more by doing good,” said Eric Gibson, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at NAAAHR. “Her role is about more than forming meaningful relationships between NAAAHR Atlanta and other organizations; it’s about creating lasting impact. NAAAHR serves to provide a unique global forum for the career development of Black and African American human resources professionals. Incorporated in 1998, the association was formed by a coalition of 17 local organizations of Black and African American professionals and consultants from many cities across the country. Today, the NAAAHR community consists of over 25,000 HR members and affiliates and operates over 25 chapters and interest groups throughout the nation.
