The bible has principles that are true and good. It also has stories that are made up and bad.
Here are a few examples of contradictions in the bible. There are 2 different books in the bible that tells how Judas died. The two books tell two different stories of how Judas died there are 4 contradictions in these stories.

In Acts 18 Judas bought the field. In Mathew 7 the priest bought the field.
In Mathew 5 Judas hangs himself. Acts 18 Judas bought a field where he fell headlong his intestines burst open.
Some bible commentary says Judas hanged himself on a tree the branch broke Judas fell and his intestines burst open. But they don't have an explanation for the other 3 contradictions.
In Mathew 3 Judas felt remorse? In Acts 18 Judas did not feel remorse?
In Mathew 6-9 they called the field of blood because the priest used blood money from Jesus.
In Acts 18 -19 they called the field of blood because Judas' intestines burst open.
