Free Event for Moms of Children With Autism by Therapy and Beyond
Each year Therapy and Beyond, a leading ABA provider across Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, partners with local organizations to host Mom's Mingles that are designed for 100+ moms of children with autism. This event allows moms to mingle with others in their community on the same journey, and ultimately, enjoy a night of carefree fun.

This event allows moms to mingle with others in their community on the same journey, and ultimately, enjoy a night of carefree fun. The highly anticipated 3rd annual North Houston Mom's Mingle will be held March 23rd, 2020 in North Houston. Registration fills fast and will be open on Friday, February 21st, 2020.
About the Mom's Mingles
According to the CDC, about 1 in 59 children has been identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Because parents play a pivotal role in a child's treatment, they can often find themselves feeling isolated and lost. The Mom's Mingles aim to share resources, connect mothers with their local communities, and give moms a night to let their hair down. This year, Therapy and Beyond has partnered with Autism Moms Are Beautiful for moms to indulge in free food, drinks, raffle prizes, Mardi Gras themed games and most importantly, the chance to create new and long lasting friends and support.

In 2013, founder of Therapy and Beyond, Dr. Crone wanted to create a community giveback that didn't focus on a workshop or learning a new skill, but would simply give moms the opportunity to bond and have an amazing night out. In turn, the Mom's Mingle event was born in Dallas, Texas and since has been so successful that Therapy and Beyond began to establish annual Mom's Mingles in other cities such as Denver, Oklahoma City, and Houston.
About Therapy and Beyond
Therapy and Beyond was founded in 2006 on the principle that there is hope for every child. Today, they provide 1:1 individualized ABA therapy for individuals on the autism spectrum in Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the most commonly prescribed treatment for children on the spectrum, and focuses on expanding functional communication skills, executive functioning skills, and advancing each child's independence. In addition to helping individuals on the spectrum through ABA, one of Therapy and Beyond's goals is to find ways to give back to the autism community as a whole, through free events like the Mom's Mingles and much more.
