Friedlander Group Chooses CHSI Connections® for Claims Management
The company will use CHSI Connections' modular suite of cloud-based core systems software to provide value via claims processing efficiencies.
HENDERSON, Nev., Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CHSI Technologies, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class insurance software, is pleased to announce that Friedlander Group Inc., the manager of pooled risk safety groups and the leader in workers' compensation for a host and variety of businesses in New York, has chosen CHSI's Connections® insurance management software to facilitate its claims management oversight.
CHSI Connections® incorporates CRM, underwriting, billing, claims management, analytics, broker and policyholder portals into a single platform. Friedlander Group will leverage Connections' CRM, Claims Management, Analytics and Policyholder Portal to engage with seven different safety groups currently underwritten by the New York State Insurance Fund.
Connections' cloud-based system, with its flexible and modular design, will replace some of the functionality of Friedlander Group's current agency management system. In particular, notes Adam Friedlander, CEO of the company, Connections' ability to generate reports that can be accessed through its safe and secure customer portal is a win-win for all stakeholders.
"One of the things I'm excited about is that we'll be able to access the data, create custom fields that do the math, analyze the data, generate the results and create reports on an automated basis," Friedlander says.
The new system will enable Friedlander Group to notify any of their 2,500 clients that their report is available on the portal and ready for review, replacing the current method of sending PDF files and emails. "This adds value at all levels and reinforces to our customers that we are interested in creating efficiencies for them, too."
Lee Mashore, CHSI Technologies' Chief Product Officer, notes that with Friedlander Group, the larger goal of the Connections system is to provide full lifecycle claims management. "They will be able to seamlessly integrate with their existing system and provide access to the loss and claims data they need to quickly create loss runs, loss ratios, adjuster notes and frequency reports."
For Friedlander Group, the larger goal is to create efficiencies that will foster growth. "We want to raise our level of capabilities," Friedlander says. "This technology will enable us to aim for larger clients, do the reporting, prepare for our meetings, which now take considerable time, and employ the benefits of automation."
