COLUMBUS, Ohio (PRWEB) September 03, 2019
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) — the world’s leading independent accreditor of health and human services — has once again accredited Friendship Village of Dublin’s Continuing Care Services. Friendship Village of Dublin is one of the only senior living communities in central Ohio to hold this prestigious recognition.
“We are very excited to receive CARF accreditation, as this is our fourth recognition since 2003,” said Rita Doherty, executive director of Friendship Village of Dublin. “This recognition reinforces our commitment to providing quality care to older adults in central Ohio, placing resident health as our top priority.”
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. An organization receiving a Five-Year Term of Accreditation has voluntarily put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF’s accreditation conditions and standards.
