NEW YORK, Sept. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Front and Center, the critically acclaimed concert series that kicked off its ninth season in July, announced that its next episode on public television (check local listings) features the reunion of the original members of Santana.
Santana IV - Live at the House of Blues in Las Vegas features the original Santana band on stage together for the first time since 1973. Carlos Santana (guitar, vocals), Gregg Rolie (keyboards, lead vocals), Neal Schon (guitar, vocals), Michael Carabello (percussion), and Michael Shrieve (drums) perform in a celebration of life and spirit. Filmed in partnership with the House of Blues in Las Vegas, the trailer for this episode can be viewed here.
Front and Center's Don Maggi stated, "It was a very special moment being part of this show. We are thrilled that it's part of the Front and Center series this year on the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock."
"It was magical coming together again," Santana said. "We didn't have to try to force the vibe – it was immense. When you can go back and break new ground with joy and determination – and some incredible energy – it gets you going. I think we achieved something very rare. This music was screaming to come out of us. It wasn't about nostalgia. It was about passion."
Season nine of Front and Center features an all new line-up of Grammy Award winners, industry legends, emerging artists, and chart toppers. The new episodes include intimate performances from Hozier, Carly Pearce, Gary Clark Jr., Brett Young, lovelytheband, Robby Krieger and Friends, Chris Janson and The Head and the Heart.
