FuelBox Charging Up Pre-Order Sales on Indiegogo Campaign
Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) June 22, 2014 -- FuelBox Inc., developers of the first mobile charging device offering universal access both at home and on-the-go, is rapidly closing in on its Indiegogo pre-order campaign sales goal of $50,000.
Launched just over two weeks ago, FuelBox’s new “powerStation” is a home/work portable charging “station” that is designed for the on-the-go tech generation’s need for easy, constant power without the need for carrying additional cords.
FuelBox Inc., based in Santa Barbara, launched a pre-order Indiegogo sales campaign on May 31 with an initial sales goal of $50,000 in 30 days. To date, pre-order sales have exceeded $30,000.
“The quick success of our Indiegogo campaign is proof there is a great need for a product like the FuelBox powerStation,” said Robert Herr, co-founder and chief executive officer of FuelBox Inc. “It’s the last mobile device charger you’ll need since it comes with both a home-based ‘Dock’ plus a ‘boostPack’ portable battery. The powerStation provides the power to fuel your life at home and on-the-go, all without the hassle of messy cords.”
The FuelBox powerStation is the first mobile device charger on the market to offer universal access both at home and on-the-go. It comes with built-in plugs for all devices while the modern docking base station stays at home and plugged into the wall. The station comes with multiple, easy-to-use universal adapters/cords that can charge any mobile device.
New ‘boostPack’ has 25 Hours of Travel Power
The FuelBox powerStation also offers a small, lightweight, and powerful portable battery pack, called the “boostPack.” It offers 25-plus hours of power in a small, streamlined unit that magnetically attaches to the powerStation dock and is instantly ready for the on-the-go mobile device user. The Dock’s design fits any room décor and has a phone/iPad/tablet resting base. It comes in three colors: moonrock white, astro gray, and carbonite black.
“We expect to reach our marketing and sales goals well ahead of plan,” said Dan Friedman, co-founder and chief marketing officer. “Our full product line is expected to be in major retail outlets this fall. This is the first of several FuelBox products we have in our developmental pipeline.”
