SAE International acquired ETI five years ago to add deep GD&T training capability to its existing Professional Development portfolio.
GD&T is a standardized system of symbols and definitions used on engineering drawings to describe size, form, orientation, and location tolerances of part features. Such a system is used to ensure that parts are manufactured exactly how engineering intended. Based on standards maintained by both ASME and ISO, GD&T has become a critical methodology for any manufacturing company that values reducing waste and increasing production efficiency.
SAE International's GD&T program was initially developed by one of the world's foremost experts on GD&T standards and practice, Alex Krulikowski. ETI's original founder and owner, Krulikowski, opened the company in 1984 and trained thousands over the next three decades.
