Fun Group Inc won the "6th Japan Tourism Awards" evaluated by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) (sponsored by Japan National Tourism Organization, Japan Association of Travel Agents, Japan Tourism Bureau).
Japan Tourism Award 2020
Award-winning project name
Reconstruction of a local tourism activity company in Bali
Fun Group offers the ease of local guided tours (Japanese/English) to Bali’s popular breathtaking natural wonders as well as off the beaten path adventures.
By conducting M&A with existing local operating companies, we have succeeded in improving productivity and profitability by conducting tours that guarantee the sense of security and quality unique to Japanese corporations, and improving efficiency through technology. Based on the success story of Bali, we have packaged a model to rebuild a local tourism company, and we are currently developing activity planning and management in 6 other cities.
At the same time, Fun Group is also focusing on "returning profits to the local area" and "environmental conservation" for the purpose of sustainable tourism. The reason for winning this prize is that employees and guides hire local people to promote in-house education, all of our guide members regularly pick up trash, and the goods provided to travelers are made into paper straws suitable for recycling.
Fun Group will contribute to the sustainable development of the tourism industry while aiming towards its expansion.
