Reinforcing its commitment to elevate the human experience in healthcare, The Beryl Institute shares initial concepts for its Future of Human Experience 2030 (HX2030) exploration. HX2030 is a community inquiry focused on uncovering fundamental actions to guide healthcare in ensuring an unwavering commitment to the human experience over the next decade.

Over 1,000 members of The Beryl Institute community provided input through a series of virtual conversations and a global survey. These concepts and ideas were reviewed by a steering team of community leaders who aligned and refined the ideas to create a dynamic framework comprised of six fundamental actions that will be essential to elevate a commitment to human experience.

In working to elevate the human experience in healthcare over the next decade, patients and consumers of care, workforce within healthcare organizations and the communities they serve will work together to ensure that healthcare efforts:

Patients:

  • Reframe consumerism to patient and consumer partnership.
  • Provide a precision experience through the use of real-time data and decision analytics.

Workforce:

  • Address process burdens and workload issues for healthcare workers.
  • Transform professional models for a new healthcare workforce.

Communities:

  • Expand beyond treating illness to addressing the health and well-being of communities.
  • Meet people where they are, where they need it and follow them where they go.

“Supporting the HX2030 vision as well as acknowledging the realities and new existence of healthcare as we move through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, the Institute remains committed to elevating the human experience in every way,” said Jason Wolf, PhD, CPXP, President & CEO of The Beryl Institute. “We will continue to work relentlessly with our community to design and shape a future for healthcare and humanity that honors all in idea and action.”
