Twenty-Year Career Fundraising Expert to Spearhead Development Initiatives for National Blood Cancer Organization

As the Lymphoma Research Foundation pursues its mission as the nation’s premier resource for lymphoma research and patient programs, the addition of Gary in this critical role represents an exciting new chapter in our organization’s evolution.

The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – recently named Gary D. Jaworski, PhD as Chief Development Officer. As a member of the LRF senior leadership team, Dr. Jaworski is responsible for the development and implementation of national strategic plans for all fundraising activities, including distinguished events, individual and planned giving, and peer-to-peer fundraising.

Prior to joining LRF, Dr. Jaworski served as President of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation, where he successfully drove a full organizational turnaround in branding, revenue diversity and growth, and expanded organizational presence and programs domestically and globally. Jaworski also served as the Senior Vice President of Development at Autism Speaks, where he oversaw the planning and execution of all activities of the development function, including setting and achieving fundraising goals to advance the organization’s mission. Overall, Dr. Jaworski brings to LRF a twenty-year career in fundraising and nonprofit leadership over which he has raised more than $285 million.
