GC Metrics, founded and led by Rees Morrison, a veteran management consultant to corporate law departments, for years conducted the world's most comprehensive benchmark survey of law departments covering a wide array of metrics. More than 2,500 law departments submitted data to GC Metrics.
The new survey, a joint venture between GC Metrics and Corporate Counsel Business Journal, a leading provider of news and information to corporate law departments, will continue to provide intelligence on law department operations across industries, including size and make-up of department staff, internal and external expenditures, the outside law firms handling various categories of work, and other data designed to help law departments better understand their own operations in relation to similarly situated peers.
The benchmark survey also includes an exciting new offering, The Tailored Report, which delivers customized benchmark insights based on specific industries, revenue ranges and much more. The Tailored Report is available for a modest fee.
