The addition of Dr. Muthumani enhances GeneOne's existing capabilities in the fields of DNA and RNA vaccines against Emerging Infectious Diseases, immunology, and oncology. During his time at the School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and more recently at the Wistar Institute, Dr. Muthumani developed ground-breaking vaccines against lethal and significant diseases such as HIV, CHIKV, MERS Coronavirus, Zika virus, Mayaro MAYV, Powassan (POWV) and the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) coronavirus.
