Actions & Workflow Functionality: The ability to incorporate Actions into the GenSight systems allows for greater functionality, user interactivity, and automation of frequently required activity.
User Interface / User Experience: The user interface has been upgraded to include improved graphics, icons, layouts and color-schemes to create a more modern look and feel as well as improving user interaction and navigation within the site. These improvements have also generated charts and reports which make data interpretation easier and faster.
Archiving: Simpler than ever archiving functionality makes it easier to distinguish between the active portfolio of projects and older projects which are no longer being actively worked on, giving a better view of the whole portfolio and making it easier to access the correct data.
Charting: An enhanced suite of charts and models that can be incorporated into the Dashboards. These include:
- HTML charts which enable historical data to be overlaid to visualize the difference;
- Additional controls enabling users to dynamically change the settings and appearance of the chart;
- New popup views which display additional information and insight.
This allows for customized dashboards with vibrant and engaging visual representations, including colorful charts, graphs and histograms, presenting the most up-to-date information in a visual and digestible format. This improves understanding and insight, which leads to better decision making.
New pre-configured Formulas: Improved pre-configured formulas, which now include Ranking Calculations and Cumulative Timeline formulas. These new formulas provide a better understanding of the whole portfolio, saving time and helping to evaluate risk. The benefits of the out of the box financial metrics also help organisations progress up the maturity model.
Integration with Microsoft Teams: GenSight is fully integrated with Microsoft Teams, thus improving communication and collaboration, improving focus and increasing transparency.
Multi-language Module: GenSight offers international language support, enabling the system to be configured to support multiple languages, therefore ensuring global adoption of the process and system.
Improvements to Advanced reporting: There have been further improvements to reports, allowing for different data structures and providing a comprehensive advanced reporting capability. These additional and more advanced options to group and display reports result in improved analysis, visibility and insight.
