The dealership was sold through a receiver, which is becoming more common as of late. According to the National Automobile Dealers Association, in Q1 2019, the average dealer had a debt of $1.44, not including floorplan and mortgage debt, for every $1 of equity in the business, which represents a 30% increase from Q1 2015.
