New book explores the meaning of tarot cards as seen from the perspective of consciousness
DUFFEL, Belgium, June 20, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Gerald-Johan Vanoise announces his entry to the publishing scene with the release of "The Fool's Tarot: An Introduction to the Triune World of the Three Arcana" (published by Trafford Publishing), the first book in a trilogy analyzing the two existing tarot cards decks and describing them as stages of consciousness.
This book is based upon a newly designed tarot card deck with more abstract patterns. Vanoise's goal is not that people use it as a system to predict the future, but to become more conscious of patterns, and learn to deal with them beforehand. The first deck of cards are about 22 reoccurring patterns of general situations, the second deck shows its repetitive patterns of experiences: rationally, emotionally, instinctively and practically, while a last additional stage shows initiators how to find their place in a group by recognizing all previously mentioned patterns from all levels of experience at the same time.
"This book shows ideas on how to find reality in a world where people tend to be gullible and insecure and fall back on believe systems or even fantasies and conspiracies rather than to learn to distinguish their own patterns and tendencies," Vanoise says. He adds, "My subject is an alternative to 'alternative' people who tend to believe things too easily. I am very sober in this subject. My perspective gives guidance of understanding to those who want a grip upon patterns bigger than oneself."
When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Vanoise answered, "I want to help people in becoming more sure about themselves, by putting things more into perspective so that everyone can talk on the same level withou prejudgment or too much of personal expectations."
