GetDismissed.com Launches New YouTube Series
Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) August 12, 2015 -- There’s really nothing funny about getting a traffic ticket. That is, unless you’re Actor/Comedian Brad Grunberg.
Grunberg, who's had small roles in Grown Ups 2, Shameless, Austin Powers, Spider-Man, Monk, Dexter, 2 Broke Girls, and a recurring role on NYPD Blue, is the star of a new series of YouTube shorts in which Brad bemoans what many peole feel when getting a traffic ticket: frustration and anger. Add in Brad's own brand of zany humor and this almost makes getting a ticket tolerable. This weekly series airs every Tuesday.
In each spot, GetDismissed spokesman Grunberg introduces GetDismissed, California’s newest, traffic ticket fighting service. The service is super easy to use, and costs under $80. The app is free and available through the Apple Store or Google Play.
According to GetDismissed.com President, Steven Miller, “We chose to work with Brad because, while over the top, he represents the average guy out there just trying to get by, who gets a ticket that really messes up his day. Some of the other spots have Brad interacting with local characters, all centered around the Get Your Ticket Dismissed theme.” The GetDismissed Man Series can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJATszGU6hGLBjAUbCm9YRI8biPt7LjTg
There are over 5.2 million traffic tickets issued for infractions every year in California, but only seven percent of those tickets are ever contested. Up until recently, the only options available for fighting traffic tickets included going to court or hiring an expensive attorney to contest that traffic ticket. Then, services like http://www.ticketbust.com and others were developed to facilitate the process of completing and filing a Trial by Written Declaration so that you didn’t have to go to court. Those online services charge fees that are significantly less than what an attorney would charge but still cost a few hundred dollars. Now, GetDismissed is completely reinventing the category by offering a cheaper, more efficient option.
GetDismissed.com President, Steven Miller added, “With our team of attorneys, engineers, and designers, along with our marketing agency, we sought out a way to simplify the ticket fighting process in California in order to remove the frustration associated with fighting a ticket in court. Our goal was to create an easy to use system that alleviates that frustration. At the same time, we wanted to offer the most cost effective way to contest and dismiss a traffic ticket ever seen in the state of California. We believe GetDismissed meets that goal.”
