Gilman Louie Joins Cubic Executive Advisory Board
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (PRWEB) December 11, 2014 -- Cubic Defense Applications, a business segment of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today that seasoned technology venture capitalist and leading authority on simulation technologies, Gilman Louie, has joined the company’s defense executive advisory board. The executive advisory board is composed of leading defense, intelligence, counterterrorism and industry officers to help Cubic evaluate strategic growth opportunities, enter new markets and assess technology investments.

Louie is a partner of Alsop Louie Partners, a venture capital fund. He is the founder and former chief executive officer of In-Q-Tel, a strategic venture fund created to help enhance national security. Louie is a pioneer in the interactive entertainment industry, with accomplishments that include the design and development of the Falcon F-16 flight simulator series, and licensing Tetris, one the world’s most popular computer games. He founded and ran a publicly traded company called Spectrum HoloByte which was acquired by Hasbro Corporation, where he served as chief creative officer of Hasbro Interactive.

He has served on a number of boards of directors and currently chairs the Federation of American Scientists.
