SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Give2Asia, a US-based international philanthropy nonprofit, announced the launch of a fundraising campaign to fight the coronavirus outbreak. Corporate and individual donors pledged a combined US$1,000,000 in the first 48 hours of the campaign.
Donations will provide protective equipment, food, shelter, and training for frontline health workers in China.

To deliver services in China, Give2Asia is partnering with trusted Chinese nonprofits, including the Chinese Red Cross Foundation—one of the nation's highest rated NGOs—and the Hubei Red Cross Foundation, which operates in Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak.

Give2Asia has received special permission from Chinese authorities to raise expedited funds for the coronavirus outbreak response.
