NEW YORK, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Global Healthcare Leaders Foundation (GHLF) marked an important new chapter this month, recognizing 16 exceptional healthcare leaders over the course of two weeks while expanding its executive leadership, strategic partnerships, and national mission.
Led by President Richie Hosein, the Foundation is advancing a broader vision centered on three priorities: developing exceptional healthcare leaders, advancing responsible healthcare innovation, and connecting leaders across organizations, disciplines, and geographies.

Through a series of intimate leadership gatherings and the Foundation's Late Midsummer Affair, GHLF brought together healthcare executives, physicians, operators, educators, innovators, investors, and community leaders to celebrate those making a meaningful impact across healthcare.

At the August 20 dinner, 10 honorees signed an inaugural document affirming their commitment to GHLF's mission of developing exceptional leaders, advancing responsible innovation, and connecting healthcare leaders globally. The August 27 event recognized six additional leaders, reinforcing the Foundation's broader commitment to building a connected, collaborative, and forward-looking healthcare community.

Julianna Murphy has been appointed Vice President of the New York Chapter of the Global Healthcare Leaders Foundation, working alongside chapter leadership to strengthen GHLF's presence, partnerships, and engagement across New York's healthcare community.

EXPANDING ACCESS THROUGH WEARABLE HEALTH TECHNOLOGY
GHLF is partnering with Mother Nature AI and FreeHealth.ai to expand responsible wearable health technology and connect data from wearables, symptoms, medications, labs, and health records.
Wearable devices are expected to be made available at no charge to participating individuals through FreeHealth.ai, with an initial focus on rural and underserved communities and the potential for broader deployment.
The goal is to remove cost as a barrier to basic health technology while creating more opportunities for individuals to participate in their health outside of hospitals and physician offices.
This effort also reflects one of the Foundation's core priorities: supporting real-world innovation pilots that can demonstrate how responsible technology can create measurable impact.

The 16 leadership awards presented over the past two weeks represent only one component of GHLF's expanding mission.
The Foundation is developing leadership chapters, executive programming, mentorship opportunities, scholarships, innovation pilots, and the GHLF Healthcare Leadership Tour to give exceptional healthcare leaders opportunities to connect, collaborate, and lead.
