Global Electronics Distributor Chip 1 Exchange Moves U.S. Headquarters to Fort Worth
Chip 1 Exchange, an industry-leading, global, hybrid, franchise/full service distributor of electronic components and peripherals, has moved their U.S. headquarters and logistics operations from southern California to Fort Worth, Texas.
FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Chip 1 Exchange, an industry-leading, global, hybrid, franchise/full service distributor of electronic components and peripherals, has moved their U.S. headquarters and logistics operations from southern California to Fort Worth, Texas.
Established in 2001 in Frankfurt, Germany and launching its U.S. operations in 2007, Chip 1 Exchange is a franchised distributor of electronic components for aerospace, medical, automotive, industrial, defense, mobile computing and consumer applications.

The company will operate from a lease-to-build 15,000 square foot site at 701 E. 8th St. with 20 employees. The facility includes a quality control lab, regional sales office and purchasing hub with expansion plans for additional employees.
In addition to component sales, Chip 1 offers design services, BOM analysis, inventory and lifecycle management. Expansion is also in planning for offices in Florida and the San Francisco Bay Area.
