NEW YORK (PRWEB) March 11, 2021
Out Leadership, the oldest and largest coalition of global companies working to improve LGBTQ+ equality in the world, is delighted to welcome AlixPartners, one of the world’s top management consulting firms, as the second new member company for 2021. This represents the organization’s continued expansion into the global management consulting and advisory sectors.
Todd Sears, CEO & Founder, Out Leadership, said: “We’re delighted to welcome AlixPartners to our community of global firms. AlixPartners has invested significantly in building an inclusive workplace throughout its global office network. We’re honored to be working with them on LGBTQ+ equality.”
Sears continued, “We’ve been impressed with the depth of the commitment to diversity and inclusion that AlixPartners has demonstrated at all levels of their organization. Having over 60% of their employees engaged in at least one employee resource group (ERG) is proof of that.
In 2015, AlixPartners launched a D&I taskforce. Since then, the firm has launched a number of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs across all their regions of operations. These have included:
● Creating ERGs to enable shared interest groups to work together to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace.
● A dedicated full-time D&I and CSR team.
● The development of a D&I Center of Excellence to establish the firm as a best-in-class organization for inclusion and diversity.
● The firm’s first-ever integrated D&I Learning and Development and Supplier Diversity programs.
● For 4 years in a row, AlixPartners has received a perfect score of 100 points in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.
Elton Ndoma-Ogar, Head of Diversity & Inclusion at AlixPartners, said, “We are excited to join Out Leadership. Our partnership is another step on our journey to ensure AlixPartners remains at the forefront of LGBTQ+ equality and related issues. We are particularly excited about the learning, development, and networking opportunities available to our colleagues.”
Filip Nemeth, Leader of AlixPartners’ PrideMatters ERG, said, “ERGs are a vital part of our firm, and the partnership with Out Leadership provides opportunities to further support their success and also gives our colleagues a chance to learn from others who believe LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion are critical priorities. With Out Leadership’s support we can take our ERG to the next level and continue building our culture of inclusivity, equality, and respect.”
Sears said: “We’re excited to partner with AlixPartners, its employees, and its clients to increase LGBTQ+ diversity throughout the firm’s many advocacy efforts.”
