In over twenty years of national and international experience, Ms. Brown has been involved with a host of mixed-use, commercial, residential and institutional projects, such as schools, theaters, museums, and public buildings. She also has extensive planning experience with communities ranging from small towns and cities to institutes of higher learning.
Her new firm boosts hospitality (restaurant and hotel) spaces in Dallas, Cape Cod, Williamsburg, VA, and New York City's East Village. New residential projects in New York City include a ground-up condominium in midtown. She also continues with numerous international projects.
Ms. Brown's design credits include:
- Restaurants for renowned restaurateur Wolfgang Puck, including CUT by Wolfgang Puck at the Four Seasons Downtown New York for Silverstein Properties
- Engineering and executive office spaces for a large Silicon Valley Tech company's headquarters in Mountain View, CA
- Building renovations and master plans at Harvard and Yale universities

- Luxury brand commercial space for Kate Spade, ATM Anthony Thomas Melillo, Lancome, and Van Cleef and Arpels
- Master planning along the East River waterfront in New York City

Most recently. Ms. Brown was co-founder and principal in Strata Architects. She has worked at SHoP Architects PC, Polshek Partnership Architects, Perkins and Will, Leslie Gill Architect, and as the director of the Carl Small Town Center at Mississippi State University.
Ms. Brown is an experienced educator teaching studios at Yale University, Parsons the New School for Design, Rotterdam University of Applied Science, and Mississippi State University's School of Architecture. In addition, Ms. Brown has lectured widely, including in Vienna, London, Valencia, Istanbul, and across the U.S.
Ms. Brown received her Masters of Architecture from Yale University and her Bachelors of Architecture from Mississippi State University. She was also an exchange student at Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands and studied with full scholarship at the Ecoles d'Art Americaines de Fontainebleau.
