DELRAY BEACH, Fla., June 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Glori Blends was founded in 2017 with a vision to support people in feeling deeper and thinking clearer. The company began when one of the owners, Lori, sought a solution to her insomnia. After trying countless approaches, she found hemp. Lori customized the blend and Dream was created. The company expanded its formulas to support others in reaching their goals. A line of CBD rich hemp tinctures, capsules and topicals were developed along with a pet line. A new goal evolved to bring healing to the world through hemp. Most recently, two of Glori Blends' very own co-authored a book, Whole Plant 101: The Ultimate Guide to Hemp and CBD. Whole Plant 101 starts off by tracing hemp's use throughout history, hemp as a superfood and the breakdown of whole plant hemp products. Terpenes, cannabinoids, how hemp works in the body and ways to use the product are explored. After these topics, each chapter is dedicated on how CBD-rich hemp oil can support with specific health concerns. These chapters include the areas of physical, mental and emotional health. The book concludes with hemp's ability to heal the environment and the projection for hemp's impact as the industry grows.
Nicholas Corsalini, Owner and CMO, and Jill Woodall, Administrative Manager, for Glori Blends and its sister company, DeCorsa Hemp Co. co-authored Whole Plant 101. Both shared the goal of writing a book based on scientific research and vetted by a professional in the field. The vision for the book is to reduce the stigma associated with hemp, inform the reader of how hemp can support and to spark interest in natural approaches to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The authors want to empower readers with knowledge and choice. Nicholas and Jill referenced many scientific journals and publications to provide objective information. The consultant, Dan Brandt holds two degrees in biological sciences and has seventeen years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He now works in the cannabis industry specializing in consultation and compliance.
