Veteran Teachers Recruited to Offer Quality Online Early Education

"We want it to be easy for teachers to share, and parents to access, preschool activities that provide as fun and meaningful an experience as children would get inside the classroom.” - Mehdi Tehranchi, Go2s founder

Preschools are facing a new challenge in a Covid-19 world. How can the youngest (typically ages 2-5) learners access educational opportunities in the face of enrollment caps, concerns about in-person exposure, and parents’ financial struggles?

iyotee, inc., creator of the Go2s private, free communication app, is excited to announce it has teamed up with experienced early childhood educators to offer a weekly, online preschool curriculum at no cost to fellow teachers. Kim Mogard, Director or Educare Learning Center, and Melissa Fullerton, Owner/Director of Joy Kids Learning Centers, will launch week 1 of the pilot curriculum, “Go2SchoolAtHome,” on July 6.

Besides introducing number, letters, shapes and colors, distance learning fulfills another crucial developmental need for preschoolers. Kim Mogard explains the importance. “Young learners need to stay socially and emotionally connected to others through their learning activities...at home or engaging with teachers who are enacting learning activities online. Online learning that encourages hands-on participation helps preschoolers grow cognitively during a stage of development when stimulating environments and experiences impact brain development directly. It also enables them to return to school settings with less stress and greater competence when centers/schools reopen.”

Go2s founder Mehdi Tehranchi says his company created the initiative “for educators and families who want free, safe, and collaborative online learning support for their kids. We want it to be easy for teachers to share, and parents to access, preschool activities that provide as fun and meaningful an experience as children would get inside the classroom.”
