Goliath Games Creates Holiday Magic with Massive Donations

Goliath spread holiday cheer by donating hundreds of toys and games to children in need through local non-profits surrounding North Texas.

“At Goliath, we’re extraordinarily fortunate that people chose to lean on games to make 2020 as joyful a year as possible. With that in mind, we’re called to reach out to those in our community who could use some extra joy during this season” said Mary Higbe, Goliath’s Director of Marketing.

This December, the elves (employees) over at Goliath packed up box trucks, vans, large SUV’s, and more, with thousands of game donations heading to 8 different charitable organizations.

Goliath is the one of the largest toy companies in North America and is one of the few industries that saw a booming increase during this tumultuous year.

It was no surprise when families turned to Goliath’s vast expanse of games to stay entertained and sane while sheltering at home. Therefore, Goliath strived to generously give back during the holiday season, with a passion to positively impact their local community.

Goliath believes everyone has a right to fun and games, especially during the holiday season. Living out their mission statement, “clever together,” they extended a helping hand to 8 different organizations in the North Texas community.

Next Generation Action Network was founded in 2014 as a platform for the next generation across America to give a voice to human and civil rights initiatives. Since its inception, the Next Generation Action Network has grown to be one of the leading voices towards progressive change including the enrichment of communities nationally through education and organized activism in North Texas.

Funky Town Fridge is a community fridge project that aims to combat hunger, empower the community, reduce food waste, and educate the city of Fort Worth. They place refrigerators and pantries in public spaces accessible to the community 24 hours a day and stock them with nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste.

Goliath partnered with WFAA’ Santa’s Helpers to coordinate donations to the Sharing Life Outreach’s Annual Christmas Faire, and the Inspired Vision Compassion Center.

The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) provides a safe place for children and their families across North Texas, to begin the healing process after experiencing criminal child abuse or witnessing a violent crime.

Dallas Young Latino Democrats aim to increase the Latino youth involvement within the Dallas community through civic engagement and the spread of information.

Goliath lent a hand to the North Richardson OrangeTheory Fitness Studio to support Wind Rose Academy, an organization that offers help and hope for children on the autism spectrum or with advanced developmental/social challenges.
