DEPEW, N.Y., Oct. 24, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- GoNetspeed, announced significant progress in its construction of high-speed fiber internet throughout Buffalo area communities. To date, GoNetspeed provides service to more than 3,100 homes in Western NY with a total investment of $51 Million into the region.
Construction is rapidly underway in Cheektowaga, with 129 miles of fiber under construction and 1600 homes currently able to sign up for service. By the end of fall, service will be available to a total of 20,000 homes.
Within Cheektowaga, 41 miles of fiber are under construction in the Village of Depew and 1,500 homes can currently sign up for service. By the end of fall, service will be available to a total of 5,500 Depew homes.
This winter, GoNetspeed will begin 10 miles of fiber construction in Lancaster, with 1,600 homes expected to have service available beginning in 2023.
