Good Karma Dog Company Partners with Save-A-Pet Adoption Center to Bring Natural Dog Treats to Rescue Canines
Grayslake, IL (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Homeless dogs at Save-A-Pet Adoption Center enjoyed 60 pounds of organic, all natural dog treats donated by Good Karma Dog Company on July 17th. On a quarterly basis, Good Karma Dog Company’s Pound for a Pound program donates a pound of treats for every pound sold (up to 3% of their quarterly revenues) to a selected dog rescue program. In the second quarter of 2013, Good Karma Dog Company recognized Save-A-Pet with their treat donation.
Erica Wyatt, Executive Director at Save-A-Pet, said “When Good Karma Dog Company approached Save-A-Pet to participate in their Pound for a Pound program, we were excited to partner with them. This gives us a chance to bring a little treat happiness to our eighty plus dogs that are waiting for their new homes. Over the next few months, we hope to broaden our partnership with Good Karma Dog Company through various programs”.
Good Karma Dog Company serves dog owners looking to reward their pets with treats made from all natural or organic ingredients. They take pride in finding smaller, unique dog treat bakers who use simple, natural ingredients that are minimally processed. Good Karma Dog Company also offers eco-friendly toys that are made of recycled, organic, natural or recyclable materials. In fact, many dog toys available at their online store are made from food-grade materials.
“Our clients are passionate about their dogs and we want to offer healthy alternatives to traditional dog treats and toys,” said Eric Shoemaker, co-founder of Good Karma Dog Company. “Anyone can purchase mass produced treats from a big box store. We take pride in introducing our pet parents to smaller manufacturers who concentrate on baking in limited batches with intense quality. Most of the treats are made in the USA”.
