Good Shepherd Health Care System Hires New Chief Operating Officer
LENEXA, Kan. (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- After conducting a nationwide executive search led by healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith, Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston, Ore., has hired Jim Schlenker as chief operating officer. A veteran healthcare executive with over 25 years of leadership experience, Schlenker will assume his new duties on March 1st.

Formerly, Schlenker served as interim chief executive officer and chief financial officer for St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Ore. As interim CEO, he oversaw the development and transition to a new state-of-the-art hospital. Prior to this role, Schlenker was CFO at Sunnyside Community Hospital in Sunnyside, Wash.
