Goodman Acker Announces Addition of New Chaldean Michigan Personal Injury Lawyer
Southfield, Michigan (PRWEB) September 28, 2015 -- The Southfield, Michigan personal injury law firm of Goodman Acker, P.C. is thrilled to announce Chaldean Attorney Ronita Bahri has been added to its team of highly accomplished and top rated personal injury lawyers. Bahri has joined Goodman Acker as an Associate Attorney.
Bahri will practice personal injury law, with an emphasis on injuries from a Michigan car accident and no-fault insurance claims.
Bahri earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2014. She received her undergrad as a magna cum laude at Wayne State University in 2011 with a B.A. degree in political science and psychology.
Prior to joining Goodman Acker, P.C., Bahri worked as a legal and policy associate at Michigan Community Resources in Detroit, working with nonprofit organizations, as well as, the San Francisco Public Defenders office while in law school.
Bahri, a native of Iraq and a Chaldean, came to the Detroit area at the age of eight.
In the ensuing years, she became trilingual, adding English and Arabic to her native Aramaic. Currently, Bahri resides in Sterling Heights, Michigan and is a member of the Chaldean American Bar Association and the Michigan Association for Justice.
“We are pleased to welcome Ronita Bahri as an Associate Attorney to the firm. We believe Ronita is a great addition to our team and has the expertise, skill and knowledge to help our clients achieve the justice and results they are looking for,” says founder and managing partner Gerald Acker.
"Detroit is a culturally and ethnically diverse area with people of many backgrounds and cultures who often have specific legal needs. For people whom English is a second language, it may sometimes be helpful to speak with an attorney who can communicate with you in your native language. That is why we are so thrilled to add Bahri to our team," says Acker.
Attorney Bahri understands the unique struggles that Middle Eastern clients may have after moving to Michigan. "I am proud of my heritage and because I am able to speak fluent Arabic and Aramaic, I am thrilled to be able to help those who are not fluent in English and need legal assistance from a Michigan personal injury lawyer," says Bahri.
