Goodway Group Announces Key New Hires to Launch Data Science and Analytics Division

Goodway Group, the digital partner advertisers trust to deliver campaign performance and media efficiency, has created a new Data Science and Analytics division that will work across Goodway’s departments to leverage advanced analytics and machine learning for its clients. Spearheading the new division are new hires Lluis Canet, vice president of data science and analytics, and Benjamin Diesbach, lead data insights analyst. Diesbach will report to Canet and Canet will report to Huanlei Ni, vice president of product, marketing and data.

“Empowering our clients with advanced analytics and insights is key to their long-term success,” said Jay Friedman, president of Goodway Group. “The new division will allow our clients to plan their campaigns more strategically by transforming their approach to data.”

As head of the new division, Canet’s responsibilities encompass leveraging advanced tools and innovative techniques to maximize advertising results for clients; partnering with clients to meaningfully measure their advertising strategies and gain a deep understanding of their customers; and utilize analytics and data science to generate efficiencies across the organization. Supporting Canet, Diesbach is responsible for driving strategic and tactical analytics and insights activities to scale across all client engagements.

Prior to Goodway, Canet has held senior data science and analytics-focused roles for 21st Century Fox, JP Morgan Chase and PulsePoint. Diesbach has over a decade of experience working in advertising technology, having most recently served as the vice president of analytics at Accordant Media.

Canet holds a bachelor and master of science degree in telecommunication engineering from the Technical University of Valencia in Spain, and he is based in Los Angeles, California. Diesbach holds a B.A. in international studies from Colby College and is based in Hoboken, New Jersey.
