Goodway Group Appoints New COO Corean Canty

Canty to focus on day-to-day business operations and client-facing functions while empowering Goodway’s remote workforce

Goodway Group, the digital partner advertisers trust to deliver campaign performance and media efficiency, has appointed Corean Canty to the role of Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Canty will drive the company towards operational excellence and optimum client experience. She will also institute career development opportunities that are designed to empower Goodway’s mostly female workforce of over 350 employees. Canty reports to Goodway’s President Jay Friedman, who previously served as COO.

Previously, Canty served as the VP of Sales Enablement at Goodway. Canty has been a member of the Goodway team for the past four years, holding senior positions within the company that encompass operations management. In her prior roles, she developed and built out Goodway’s research, media product and account management functions with a focus on enhancing client experience. She has helped to lead the transformation of Goodway, including initiatives to promote diverse leadership.

Canty has a history of leading global strategy with some of the world’s top brands, including Walmart and Target. Prior to Goodway, she provided strategic direction for e-commerce, technology and brand development and partnerships to key partners at CafePress Inc. Canty also managed global strategic direction for key clients at TMP Worldwide, providing oversight for the development and implementation of social media strategy, brand development and advertising and marketing strategies. She started her career in media, producing and hosting a top rated morning radio show.

Canty holds an M.A. in Public Relations and a B.A. in Communications and Mass Media from Michigan State University, where she received a Congressional Honor Award for the development of a youth outreach program. She is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
