GottaPark Announces Partnership with Transamerica Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 24, 2014 -- GottaPark, an online marketplace for parking reservations, today announced its new partnership with the Transamerica ® Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon San Francisco. With this new partnership, the Half Marathon can offer visitors to its website the ease and convenience of online parking reservations for race day, April 6. With thousands of runners and spectators expected to descend upon downtown San Francisco on the morning of the race, parking will surely be at a premium. By integrating GottaPark’s tools onto its website, the Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco team hopes to make parking a little easier for these visitors.
This will be the fourth time in the last 12 months that GottaPark has teamed up with a marathon. The company worked with the San Francisco Marathon in June, the Nike Women’s Marathon in October, and the Berkeley Half Marathon in November. Each time, the company has helped progressively larger groups of drivers to find a parking space ahead of time.
“The goal is to make people’s race day less stressful,” said Luke Jones, Director of Business Development for GottaPark. “Nobody wants to arrive ready to run, only to have to scramble around to find parking.”
Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco takes place on April 6th. The route takes runners from Ocean Beach to Civic Center Plaza, featuring a highlight trip out and back across the Golden Gate Bridge. Because of the point-to-point nature of the course, participants driving to the race are encouraged to park near Civic Center and take a free shuttle to the start line. The second annual Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon San Francisco takes place on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
