GovQA Customers Score an “A” in Texas Transparency Study
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) February 19, 2015 -- WebQA today announced that over 88% of all cities using its GovQA’s Public Records Platform received an “A” grade in The Dallas Morning News’ (http://www.dallasnews.com/ ) yearlong transparency study released January 23, 2015.
During 2014, The News sent over 500 requests for information to 113 government agencies in North Texas to monitor and gage compliance with the Texas open records laws. After examining the ease of web access to public information, and the timing and accuracy of responses to open records requests, The News assigned each city a grade (see Study Summary at http://res.dallasnews.com/interactives/records/ ).

Other cities outside this study such as Arlington, El Paso, Ft. Worth, McAllen, San Antonio, Waco, and more than 15 other Texas government entities, use the GovQA platform to handle public records requests.
