Grammy-Nominated Artist and Activist Isaac Slade To Perform Concert In Support of Maryland's Unaffiliated U.S. Senate Candidate, Neal Simon
ROCKVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) September 20, 2018 -- Neal Simon, an unaffiliated candidate for Maryland’s U.S. Senate seat, today announced musician, activist and Grammy-nominated artist Isaac Slade will hold an intimate concert for 300 of his DC-based fans in support of Simon’s unaffiliated run for the U.S. Senate at Gypsy Sally’s on Monday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m. The fundraising event is put on jointly by the Neal Simon for US Senate campaign and No Labels, a bipartisan political organization whose mission is to combat partisan dysfunction in politics.
Slade - best known for his Billboard-topping hits such as “How to Save a Life,” “You Found Me,” and “Over My Head” - is an active supporter of the national Independent political movement as well as international social justice issues such as human trafficking and providing access to musical education for all children.
“Simon is a bright star on a pretty dark horizon right now in our country,” said Slade. “While many leaders are shouting ‘bipartisanship’ from the safety of their respective trenches, Neal is risking, standing bold and brave in the tension of that battlefield, beckoning, even daring both sides to join in the actual conversation.”
“Isaac’s music and activism is an inspiration to so many, including me,” said Simon. “I am delighted that he will share his artistry and talent for the benefit of our campaign. The evening will be a celebration of what we can accomplish for the country when we come together in a purposeful way to fix what is wrong, rather than continue to divide, bicker and stall progress.”
Tickets for the event start at $45 dollars. For $150, concertgoers can enjoy table seating. Also available is a $1,000 package for a VIP reception with the artist.

Slade and Simon first met almost a year ago due to their joint work with Unite America, a national movement focused on drafting and electing moderate Independents across the country.
