Great Place to Work examined survey outcomes from more than 162,000 employees from various aspects of elder care including senior housing and at-home care. The in-depth survey questions had the employees answer to what extent their organization is a Great Place to Work. At Grandcare Health Services, 84 percent of employees say their workplace is great.
For consideration, companies in the 50 Best Workplaces for Aging Services list had to first achieve Great Place to Work certification. The certification process involves submitting an application and having at least 55% of employees fill out a survey, which is administered over a two-week period.
